Project target

The project’s main goal was to support the business of the pan European partner network, and spread awareness of Idealcover products, particularly regarding expansion into foreign markets. The company has chosen to improve business activities support for its partners, through a global product portal.

Description

Český Web proposed a solution featuring the required functions, based on implementation of the Aladin publishing system, accompanied by customized applications, which would automatically generate partner web sites. The whole solution is comprised of the following components:

  • The web portal www.idealcover.com
    • Presentation portal with a centralized product catalogue
    • Partner’s portal section, for entering specific partner data to allow for automatic generation of web pages, all of which comprise the partner’s extranet
    • Centrally controlled management of templates used in partner’s web pages
  • Application to generate partner web sites, utilizing central catalogue data, approved templates and the specific data entered by partners via the partner’s extranet
  • Automatic generation of partner’s web pages – from hundreds, to thousands, of partner web sites in 7 language variants.
